Frequently asked questions
Answers to the questions clients ask most often
Didn't find your answer?
Describe your situation — a lawyer will reply by phone or messenger, 24/7.
01 What should I do if debt collectors keep calling?
Do not acknowledge the debt verbally and do not pay without documents. Ask for the company name and the basis of the claim and keep records of calls and messages. A lawyer will send formal demands, and violations can be reported to the National Bank and the police.
02 I received a court order to recover a debt — what now?
An application to cancel a court order can be filed within 15 days of receiving it. After cancellation the creditor may file a lawsuit, and the court will then hear your objections on the merits.
03 Can a microfinance debt be reduced?
Often, yes. We check the contract and the calculation — interest, fees and penalties, including charges during martial law. The unlawful part can be challenged in court or removed in negotiations.
